On this website you have the possibility to play the popular dice game **YATZY Classic** (also known as Yahtzee or Doubles) alone or against an opponent (who should sit next to you).

If you don't want to just start, it's best to familiarize yourself with the rules first.

**Instructions**

You can play this Yatzy version alone or in pairs. At the beginning you can choose whether you want to play alone against the CPU or against a friend.

The actual game screen is divided into the following areas:

On the left side is the dice bar. It consists of a display showing the current player and the current roll. Underneath it you will find the 5 dice and the button to throw the dice.

On the right side is the game table where the results are entered. The current intermediate results (totals and bonus) are also displayed here.

Game history

In Yatzy, the objective is to use the 5 dice to roll the combinations given in the game table. There are 13 rounds, as there are 13 different combinations. Each player is allowed to throw three consecutive dice per round.

After each roll, the player must decide which dice to "stand". A dice is fixed by clicking on the box to the right of it. A check-mark appears and the dice are faded out. Once a cube has been left standing, it can be "freed" again later by clicking it again.

If the first roll is already perfect, there is no need to roll the dice again. After the 3rd roll at the latest, egter, the resulting dice combination must be entered in one of the 13 fields. Then it is the turn of the next player.

Especially at the beginning there are usually several possibilities to enter a dice combination into the table. Egter, if a field is already occupied, the corresponding entry cannot be corrected. If a combination of dice cannot be entered in any of the first 12 fields, the player has a one-time opportunity to simply enter the sum of the 5 dice in the "Chance" field. If this field is also already occupied, a free field must be "deleted". In this case 0 points are awarded.

If all fields are occupied, die spel is verby. The player with the most points wins.

Combinations:

### One - Six

Here, only those cubes are counted that match the name of the combination. The remaining cubes are not counted.

Example (twos): 2-2-2-1-4 = 3x2 = 6 punte

Example (fives): 5-5-1-1-6 = 2x5 = 10 punte

If the sum of all results in the one-six range yields at least 63 punte, a bonus of 35 points is credited.

### Threesome

Here 3 equal cubes must be achieved. As value the sum of all dice is entered.

Example: 5-5-5-2-6 = 3x5 + 2 + 6 = 23 punte

### Quadruple

Here 4 identical cubes must be reached. As value the sum of all dice is entered.

Example: 4-4-4-4-6 = 4x4 + 6 = 22 punte

### Full House

Here, 3 identical dice and additionally 2 identical dice must be achieved (i.e. both a triple and a double).

Fixed value 25 punte

Example: 1-1-1-4-4 of 3-3-6-6-6

### Small street

Here 4 numerically consecutive cubes must be reached. The 5th cube is without meaning. 1-2-3-4, 2-3-4-5 en 3-4-5-6 are the possible combinations.

Fixed value: 30 punte

### Great Street

Here 5 numerically consecutive cubes must be reached. There are only the 2 possibilities 1-2-3-4-5 en 2-3-4-5-6.

Fixed value: 40 punte

### Yatzy

In the most difficult combination, all 5 dice must have the same number (no matter which). Fixed value: 50 punte

### Opportunity

The value of this field is simply the sum of all cubes. This chance is good as a "not anchor", but can also bring many points.
