About Flip Duel
Flip Duel is a parkour flipping game where the whole trick is the timing: run, launch, and pick the moment to commit to a backflip. Land it cleanly and a combo builds; mistime it and you get one of the ragdoll crashes the game is just as happy to show you. Challenging landing zones are the point rather than the decoration, so what is being tested is not whether you can flip - it is whether you know when.
There are three ways to play it. One Player runs the full parkour adventure. Two Player puts a friend on the same keyboard for a local flip duel, one of you on WASD and the other on the arrow keys - which turns it into a game about nerve, because you can both see what the other is about to attempt. FreeStyle drops the objectives entirely and simply asks how long you can keep moving through the obstacles before your life bar gives out.
It runs in your browser with nothing to download, in landscape, and a touchscreen works as well as a keyboard - tap the screen to control your character and to flip.
Tips for a cleaner landing
- Commit late, not early. The flip starts when you press it, so the last possible moment is usually the best one.
- Watch the landing zone, not the character. It tells you how much rotation you can afford before you have even left the ground.
- Chain the easy ones. A steady combo built on safe flips beats one spectacular backflip followed by a crash.
- In the duel, play the clock. Your opponent can see your run-up, so a scrappy attempt hands them a win they did not have to earn.
Flip Duel is a skill game made by gameVgames and published on GameDistribution. It plays with a keyboard or a touchscreen, on desktop and on mobile.
How to play
One Player: run the full parkour adventure on your own. Two Player: a local duel on one keyboard - Player 1 uses WASD, Player 2 uses the arrow keys. Flip: press your controls to launch and to commit to a flip - the timing is what decides the landing. Landing zones: come down inside them, and a clean landing keeps the combo going. FreeStyle: no objectives, just keep moving through the obstacles while your life bar lasts. Touch: tap the screen to control your character and to flip.
