Wave Road 3D hands you a sleek arrow on a floating road and asks you to keep it moving. The road is lined with gears and traps and scattered with gems to collect, and all of it tests timing and precision rather than planning: you steer, you commit, and you try not to clip the thing that is already in your path.

Three modes cover three moods. Endless is the high-score chase, where the road keeps going until you stop being good enough. Classic is the structured one - twenty handcrafted levels, so the difficulty is somebody's decision rather than the machine's. And 2 Player puts a friend on the same keyboard for a head-to-head race, Player 1 on W, the left mouse button or the spacebar and Player 2 on the up arrow, which makes it as much about nerve as accuracy.

It runs in your browser with nothing to download, in landscape, and on a phone the whole screen is the button - tap anywhere to keep the arrow gliding.

Tips for a cleaner run

• Watch the road, not the arrow. The arrow follows your input whether or not you are looking at it; the obstacles do not.
• Take the gems on your line. A detour to reach one costs more than it pays, so collect what is already in front of you.
• Correct a little, not a lot. Small adjustments keep the arrow stable, and most runs end in an over-correction rather than a missed turn.
• In the race, survive first. A clean line beats a fast one that clips a gear, and the player still moving wins by default.
